Buyer Agency

A buyer’s agent is one who is ethically and legally bound to put the buyer’s interests ahead of all others in a real estate transaction.  It’s important that you select an agent that you trust before you begin the house hunting search, or you could end up without representation.

The role of an agent representing you, as a buyer, should be actively looking for potential homes to show you, and email you new listings as they become available.  Another important role a buyer’s agent plays is to aggressively negotiate on your behalf, and answer questions you will have about the home buying process.  Commissions are negotiated at the time a seller lists their home for sale, so regardless of who brings the buyer, the rate has already been determined.  Sellers pay commissions, so the service I provide to you as your agent is free to you.

Having a buyer’s agent to represent you is critical, especially in today’s competitive market.  I work hard to get the absolute best price for my buyers, and will prepare a comparable market analysis to arm you with information to make an informed decision.
