Pasadena Quarterly Market Insights Report (Micro): Q3 2021 Home sales activity in Pasadena increased 22 percent compared to last year’s third quarter. Home prices were strong with the average sales price increasing 28 percent to $1.3 million. The average sales price for Pasadena condos hit a 29 percent increase at $923,698. Here is a Market Report for Altadena and Pasadena for the week of 7/28. Altadena This week the median list price for Altadena, CA 91001 is $1,099,000 with the market action index hovering around 75. This is less than last month’s market action index of 77. Inventory has decreased to 29. The market has been cooling over time and prices have recently flattened. Despite the consistent decrease in Market Action Index (MAI), we’re in a Seller’s Market (where significant demand leaves little inventory available). If the MAI begins to climb, prices will likely follow suit. If the MAI drops consistently or falls into the Buyer’s zone, watch for downward pressure on prices. Click here to view a detailed report.
